is an important issue to the Rainy Lake Conservancy. Utilizing US and Canadian specialists in tax and easement matters, from time to time the Conservancy sponsors conservation easement workshops for board members, officers, and landowners. Attendees gain a much better understanding of the conservation process, long-term commitment, land protection options and costs. Experts from the Minnesota Land Trust, Ontario Land Trust Alliance, and the Nature Conservancy of Canada share their time and considerable knowledge with Conservancy people.
