Annual General Meeting

Members of the Rainy Lake Conservancy...

will hold their Annual General Meeting Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. CDT via ZOOM. Save the date!

We are pleased to welcome Andrew Hallikas, Mayor of Fort Frances, as our guest speaker at this year’s Annual General Meeting. A short business meeting will follow. If you would like to attend the AGM, please email info@rainylakeconservancy.org for ZOOM call-in details. 

This is an opportunity for guests to learn more about the Rainy Lake Conservancy and for members to catch up on the activities of the Conservancy. Each year Conservancy members vote to fill 3-year rotating positions on the Board of Directors, and each year the Board members appoint their Executive Officers for the coming year. The president presents the Board of Director's report, and special speakers address topics as varied as biodiversity studies, fluctuating water levels in the Rainy Lake basin, water monitoring programs, and customs and border regulations for seasonal residents.
