Your membership in and support of the Rainy Lake Conservancy are welcome.
It is not necessary that you live in the area in order to support the efforts of the Conservancy. The primary benefit of membership is the satisfaction of sharing in the protection of Rainy Lake and its watershed. The Rainy Lake Conservancy is dedicated to preserving and protecting this relatively unspoiled border lake for present and future generations. When you become a member, the Conservancy becomes your agency to preserve and protect the lake. Members over the age of 18 have a voice in decision making through attendance, input, and voting at the Annual General Meeting held midsummer each year. Individual and corporate memberships receive one vote; family memberships receive two votes. Members receive information through newsletters, seminars, special mailings and the web site. Opportunities to serve on the board of directors, on the executive committee, or on numerous committees are available to members. The Conservancy provides its members with assistance and information on land protection options. To become a member of the Rainy Lake Conservancy or to renew your membership, download the membership form [Download PDF], fill it out and mail it with your cheque to the Rainy Lake Conservancy. The Rainy Lake Conservancy is a registered Canadian charitable corporation. Memberships are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. The Rainy Lake Conservancy's charitable tax ID number is 86941 2585 RR 0001. |
